Foresight Sports har länge varit ledande på launch monitor-marknaden när det gäller höghastighetskameratekniken. GC Quad används av många tourspelare, bland andra Bryson DeChambeau, och sägs allmänt vara bäst på att mäta spinn - en inte helt oviktig detalj för golfare.
I den allmänna yran där launch monitorer blivit konsumentprodukter och inte bara verktyg för instruktörer och utprovare som jobbar med custom fitting har bl.a. Garmin, Flightscope, SkyTrak, Rapsodo m.fl. släppt produkter som vanliga människor faktiskt haft råd med - till skillnad från proffsmodellerna som ligger på närmre 200 000 eller däröver.
Nu är det just Foresight Sports tur att släppa en modell som ryktades bli en konsumentprodukt, men efter initiala rapporter om priser på runt 70000 eller mer (inget exakt pris har meddelats) är det kanske svårt att kalla det för konsumentprodukt.

Foresight Sports Unveils GC3 Launch Monitor More than a decade after the debut of its GC2 – the industry’s bestselling performance launch monitor technology – Foresight Sports has announced its successor, the GC3.
The next generation model is set to deliver uncompromising accuracy and performance, both outdoors and indoors, at a price point that puts Foresight’s game-changing technology in reach of more golfers than ever before.
Built on the same advanced photometric technology found in the company’s Tour-dominating flagship launch monitor, the GCQuad, the new GC3 features a three-camera system that measures ball and club performance data with industry-leading precision.
According to Foresight Sports US Sales Director Rick Cuellar, the GC3 answers a long-awaited need in the golf industry – making the highest-level performance, gaming, and entertainment technology accessible to more golfers.
He said: “The GC3 was designed from the start to fill the gap between our original ball-data-only GC2 and the unmatched data insight of our GCQuad. It delivers the essential ball and club data players need to reliably improve their game as well as power a true-to-life virtual golf experience. No other product on the market comes close to delivering this range of options – nor this level of indoor/outdoor accuracy – at this price.”
The GC3 will include the full FSX Software platform, FSX Pro performance insight tool and the FSX Mobile App. It will also be available with all the simulator options from Foresight Sports Europe, including the revolutionary Sim-in-a-Box range.
The GC3 is launching in the USA initially and coming to Europe in early 2022, with European pricing and purchase information set to be released in due course.
